Privacy Policy
Shokran Donate stores no donor data, contains no developer analytics or advertising, and cannot read card details. It transiently processes public Shokran campaign content and the donor-selected amount to open Shokran's native Stripe checkout.
Data handled
The extension handles two Chrome Web Store data categories:
- Website content: public campaign names, organizations, images, progress amounts, goals, and internal Shokran identifiers from Shokran's public fundraiser feed.
- Financial and payment information: the donor-selected donation amount. Card number, expiry, CVC, Link credentials, and payment-authentication data are entered directly into Stripe's cross-origin fields and are not accessible to privileged extension code.
The selected campaign and amount exist only in browser memory and are passed to an embedded Shokran page to prepare the donation flow. The extension does not store this information or send it to the extension developer.
Recipients and purpose
The extension loads the public fundraiser feed from https://api.charity.shokran.io/. Campaign images may load from https://6sc78.upcloudobjects.com/. The embedded checkout loads from https://charity.shokran.io/, which receives the selected campaign and amount, creates the payment session, and loads Stripe resources. Stripe receives the payment and authentication information entered into Stripe's fields. These services may also receive an IP address and standard connection metadata needed to deliver their services.
These transfers are limited to preparing and processing the donation requested by the user. They are not used by the extension developer for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, lending, or any unrelated purpose.
Browser access
The extension does not access browsing history, cookies, passwords, clipboard data, downloads, tabs, or unrelated websites. Its scripts are restricted to extension-owned checkout, minimum-bridge, and success frames on https://charity.shokran.io/ and exit on ordinary top-level Shokran pages.
Payment security
Payment fields are provided by Stripe's Payment Element inside Shokran's page. Privileged extension code cannot read, store, or transmit card numbers, expiry dates, CVCs, Link credentials, or payment-authentication data. The donor reviews the payment and presses the final Pay button.
Storage, analytics, and sharing
The extension retains no user data and contains no analytics, tracking, advertising, or profiling technology. The extension developer does not sell user data or transfer it except for the user-requested donation flow described above. Shokran and Stripe process donation information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Limited Use
The use and transfer of information received by Shokran Donate complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
